Pet Ornaments

A more affordable way to remember your furry friend… and brighten up your holidays!

Each pet ornament features an acrylic painting of your pet on a 4” plastic flat disc ornament (less fragile = longer lasting!)

  • Single subject = $75

    2 subjects - $100

    • Price includes shipping, handling, & tax.

    • I currently accept Venmo payments, personal checks, or cash (if applicable).

    • The entire cost of an ornament is due at the beginning of the project - so make sure you definitely want one before you order! This payment will secure your order and your place on my project list.

    • Once your ornament is paid for, you will be added to my order list and I will begin your piece when time allows.

    • If you intend to have your order delivered by a specific date, please clearly indicate that need up front. I will do my very best to have your piece completed on time. Orders requested with less than one month’s notice may be subject to a rush-order fee depending on my availability.

    • Special requests can be made to change the ornament size/shape or add a border at an additional cost.

  • The reference photo can make a huge difference in the result of your portrait, and a good quality headshot of your pet will also make the process easier for me! Here are a few tips for getting a great shot:

    • Natural light is your best friend - When possible, try taking a photo during the late afternoon when it is still bright but not blinding for your pet. Avoid dimly lit photos that require flash as this will not capture the intricate coloring of your pet’s fur. If taking photos inside, have your pet sit by a nicely lit window. Avoid shadows that cover your pet’s face.

    • The eyes are the basis of each portrait - take close up photos at the pet’s eye level, and continue trying at different angles until you can get a solid shot of them looking straight at the camera. Even better if you can get a little personality on their face!

    • Keep trying until you have found 2-3 photos that are well lit and show a clear image of your pet that you would be happy to see in the portrait.

    • Note: I understand that sometimes you may be ordering a portrait as a surprise gift or in memory of a dog who has passed. In this case, consider your ability to find the best quality photos of the dog that you can. Photos of the dog looking straight at the camera in good lighting are best. You can always ask me if I am able to work with what you have. I will do my best to accommodate orders, but I may decline your order if I do not believe I could create a quality product.
